A New Chapter for Georgia Driving Academy

The event, held on July 19 at 1801 Eastview Road, marked the official opening of GDA’s expanded facilities, including a 2.5-acre CDL skills testing range. This expansion allows Georgia Driving Academy to significantly increase its capacity to test CDL students and makes for a better and more convenient truck driver training experience.

Among the distinguished guests were Georgia DDS Commissioner Spencer R. Moore, FMCSA CDL Program Manager Russell Thompson, and Education Affiliates Regional Vice President Bernie Marth. Together with GDA Campus President Brad Barber, they participated in a ribbon-cutting ceremony, signaling the start of a new chapter for one of Georgia’s largest truck driver training programs.

This expansion is a win for GDA and a boost to the local economy.
